Union Adventist University Refund Policy
Refund policy:
Payment of Refunds: An applicant approved for a refund will be paid the refund by 30 days from the date UAU receives the cancellation notice.
Tuition charges/refunds:
1. Before the beginning of classes, the student is entitled to a refund of 100% of the tuition
2. After the commencement of classes, the tuition refund amount shall be determined as follows:
a. Within five days of the commencement of classes, the student may be refunded 100%
b. After five days of commencement of classes, no refund is granted.
c. Note: Commencement of classes for some programs is defined as the first day the student accesses the online platform.
Grievance Policy:
Individuals with complaints regarding a particular Union Adventist University workforce development program are strongly encouraged to contact their Workforce Training Specialist for resolution of the matter.
Procedure for withdrawal/withdrawal date:
A. A student choosing to withdraw from the program after the commencement of classes is to
provide written notice to Student Affairs via their Workforce Training Specialist. The information is
to indicate the expected last date of attendance and be signed and dated by the student.
B. For a student who is on authorized Leave of Absence (LOA), the withdrawal date is the date the student was scheduled to return from the LOA and failed to do so.
C. A student will be determined to be withdrawn from the institution if the student has not attended.
